Hundreds of organizations in France and other countries get together to oppose the French government decision to set up a new nuclear reactor (EPR) in Flamanville, Manche (Normandy). This decision was taken before any public debate. Moreover, a new very-high tension cable lane (400 000 volts) is planned to link the North of Cotentin to the Mayenne (South of Laval), throughout the Channel up to the very west end of Calvados, Orne and Mayenne.
